Newborn Photography in Los Angeles
Your baby will never be this tiny again. Newborn photography is a beautiful way to document the first days of your baby’s life and the love your new family shares.
I am a newborn photographer in Los Angeles, California, specializing in timeless, natural newborn portraits. Sessions take place in my light, bright, and natural photography studio in Manhattan Beach, where I use soft natural light and minimal props to focus on the pureness, simplicity, and delicate beauty of your baby, as well as the bond your growing family shares.
My style is simple and organic, creating images that feel calm, authentic, and timeless.
Newborn sessions can take place in my Manhattan Beach studio or in your home throughout Los Angeles. In-home newborn sessions allow you to document this special season in the comfort of your own space. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
Posed sessions are baby heavy sessions! These are ideally done around 2-3.5 weeks old and last about 2-3 hours at my Manhattan Beach studio. They include the same family and sibling set ups from the Lifestyle session (IF immediate family wants to join, no pressure), but there are more set ups for baby.
The hope is to get them unwrapped and nice and squishy! These are the classic, hands under the chin, baby in a basket or bucket, looking all angelic kind of poses (IF they cooperate!) .
This is also a great option if you want ONLY baby shots!
Lifestyle sessions are “go with the flow” and have a very relaxed feel. They don’t have to take place around a specific age for baby either, which gives new moms a little more time to heal if they want! We spend about an hour in my naturally lit studio snuggling and cuddling up as a family. If you DON’T want family photos, this type of session is NOT for you! We take family photos, sibling photos, and one solo wrapped set up for baby. BABY IS WRAPPED 99% of the session to help with flow. MUGSHOTS can also be taken here if baby is awake. Mugshots are NOT included for sibling, but can be added on!
This is for you if you like the everything from the lifestyle session (“go with the flow”, baby led, family photos with baby in a wrap), but maybe you pictured taking photos in your bed or your nursery or just don’t want to leave the comfort of your home.
Depending on your location and my availability, I may be able to you! If your house doesn’t have great natural light, this is not the ideal session for you. Instead, come to my naturally lit studio in Manhattan Beach! Travel and set up fees will be added for sessions outside of the studio.
