Newborn Studio Lifestyle Photos in Los Angeles
Lifestyle newborn sessions are relaxed, “go with the flow” sessions that focus on connection and the love your new family shares. These sessions take place in my light and naturally lit Manhattan Beach studio and last about one hour.
These sessions focus on family photos, sibling photos, and snuggly moments together. We also include one simple wrapped set up for baby, and baby is wrapped for about 99% of the session to help keep things calm and flowing smoothly.
Newborn mugshots can also be taken if baby is awake. Mugshots are not included for siblings, but can be added on if desired.
Lifestyle sessions are perfect for families who want natural, connection-focused newborn photos in my Manhattan Beach newborn photography studio. If you are looking for baby-only posed photos, a posed newborn session may be a better fit.

Do you provide props or wardrobe?
Yes! I keep props simple and classic—mostly baskets or seating props for babies.
For your newborn session, you don’t need to bring anything unless you want to.
What is your turnaround time?
My standard turnaround is 2–4 weeks, but I usually deliver galleries in 10 business days or less. I offer rush delivery, which varies depending on the time of year. Rush sessions usually have a 48-hour turnaround.
Studio Cleanliness
Keeping my studio clean is something I take very seriously. For full sessions, your family is the only client in the studio, which allows me the time to fully reset the space after each session. Floors are washed, high-touch surfaces are sanitized, and I take a full load of laundry home with me.
The only time the studio isn’t fully cleaned between clients is during mini sessions, due to back-to-back scheduling.
Becoming a parent made me realize just how intense cold and flu season can be, and how scary it is for babies to get sick. Because of that, I take extra precautions during newborn sessions. I always wear a mask, and I strongly encourage anyone who isn’t feeling well to reschedule so nothing gets passed around.
