I have known Briessa since high school. We cheered together on our schools coed cheer team, which was so much fun! I was thrilled to find out she was engaged, looking for a wedding photographer and wanted to use me! Since I am shooting Brian and Briessa’s wedding next weekend, I thought I would get my butt in gear and blog their engagement session!
For their engagement session Brian and Briessa decided to take photos in Poway where Brian grew up. We began the engagement portrait session at old Poway park, in the downtown/historic area of Poway. Old Poway Park is so old and rustic looking, that is probably why there was multiple photo shoots going on while we were there. After spending sometime there we headed to Poway Lake! We wandered around the park, found an amazing little rose garden (probably one of my favorite engagement pictures… so much color!), walked down to the dock and then met their adorable fur baby little Lilly for some more pictures playing in the grass! I love anytime clients bring their animals! Lilly was the cutest, hyper little thing!
It was so great to catch up and reconnect with an old friend! I cannot wait for next weekend! It should be a beautiful day for a wedding at The Crossings in Carlsbad!
