My mom works 90 hour weeks as a self employed accountant and seldom gets a chance to relax. So when my husband couldn’t go with me to Paradise, I thought of a person who was in dire need of a vacation. So we packed our swimsuits and left our dogs and husband behind. The trip was a great bonding experience. My mom and I like to do the same things on vacation, which is a whole lot of nothing. We would wake up, walk a mile or two, eat breakfast on the 30th floor with a beautiful panoramic view of the Waikiki coast, and then hang out on the beach or by the pool with our daily Hawaiian shaved ice and diet cokes! We listened to our ipods, read a book or two and just relaxed the day away. It is nice to be on vacation with your best friend. Here are a few photos we took while we were there.
