Newborn Studio Photography in Los Angeles
Posed newborn sessions are baby-focused sessions designed to capture those classic, timeless newborn portraits. These sessions are best done when your baby is 2–3.5 weeks old and take place in my Manhattan Beach newborn photography studio. Sessions typically last 2–3 hours to allow time for feeding, soothing, and gently posing your baby.
As a Los Angeles newborn photographer, these sessions include optional family and sibling portraits, but the focus is on creating a variety of beautiful posed newborn photos of your baby.
The goal is to capture your baby unwrapped, sleepy, and nice and squishy in those classic newborn poses—hands under the chin, curled up in a basket or bucket, and other soft, angelic newborn portraits (if baby cooperates!).
This is also a great option if you would like baby-only newborn photos.

Do you provide props or wardrobe?
Yes! I keep props simple and classic—mostly baskets or seating props for babies.
For your newborn session, you don’t need to bring anything unless you want to. I have wraps, hats, bows and anything we need ti style baby that you may see on my website!
What is your turnaround time?
My standard turnaround is 2–4 weeks, but I usually deliver galleries in 10 business days or less. I offer rush delivery, which varies depending on the time of year. Rush sessions usually have a 48-hour turnaround.
Studio Cleanliness & Newborn Safety
Keeping my studio clean, especially for newborns, is something I take very seriously. For full sessions, your family is the only client in the studio, which allows me the time to fully reset the space after each session. Floors are washed, high-touch surfaces are sanitized, and I take a full load of laundry home with me.
The only time the studio isn’t fully cleaned between clients is during mini sessions, due to back-to-back scheduling.
Becoming a parent made me realize just how intense cold and flu season can be, and how scary it is for babies to get sick. Because of that, I take extra precautions during newborn sessions. I always wear a mask, and I strongly encourage anyone who isn’t feeling well to reschedule so nothing gets passed around.
