Jenny + Frank’s Wedding Green Gables San Marcos

one of the things I love about this business is watching the relationships I have with clients blossom into friendships. This weekend I get to attend the baby shower for my past bride and new friend Jenny!

Jenny and Frank got married in March at Green Gables in San Marcos. Two weeks before the wedding Jenny told me she was pregnant and wanted to take it easy and lay low on the big day, but that didn’t mean we didn’t have fun. I don’t think you could NOT have fun when you are hanging with Jenny! She has the most positive, bubbly personality…it’s infectious. And when you add Frank to the picture its even better!

The day started out at Green Gables in San Marcos. This place is beautiful… side note, this week I will also blog a wedding from their sister site, Twin Oaks Garden Estate, which is equally adorable. They are both so charming. Between the statues, weeping willow trees, and perfectly manicured rose arches, you would think you are in an English garden.

The girls bouquets were handmade from etsy shops, “A Promise Made Today” and “Bedouin.” Such a cool alternative and something Jenny can keep forever.

After an intimate first look, we are able to take our time with photos and not feel rushed.

The ceremony was beautiful, with lots of laughs. You can’t help but laugh with these two. Did I mention they are actors? In theatre no less. So you can imagine their larger than life personalities. Huge shout out to Rev. Christopher Tuttle! I have heard his name around the wedding circuit, but this was the first wedding I was able to work with him. He was amazing. He was the first officiant I have worked with that let me know there would be a moment during the ceremony that he would move aside so I could get a photo of Jenny and Frank at the alter without his head in it. Loved that!

I loved all the details in the reception. The tables were beautiful. Each guest had a different set of antique china and at each place setting was a “pie pop” Jenny got from an Etsy shop, “Sweet Pie Perfection.”

I have to mention the Spiderman sticking out of the cake! Did you see it? Cute Cakes did a great job making that. You may have noticed a photo above, where the groomsmen and Frank all wore different super hero cufflinks. This couple loves their Disney and super hero characters. I was beyond excited to find a tiny Spiderman sweatshirt for the baby shower!
